Overview

As a Senior PVD/CVD Equipment Engineer at Micron in Boise, ID, you will play a critical role in enhancing manufacturing processes by focusing on the installation, maintenance, optimization, and development of PVD/CVD equipment. This position involves working closely with multi-functional teams to address equipment issues and implement solutions to improve efficiency and yield in the semiconductor manufacturing industry.

Key responsibilities

  • Install and qualify industry-leading PVD/CVD equipment in a new cleanroom
  • Analyze PVD/CVD equipment performance, conduct preventative and corrective maintenance, and troubleshoot issues
  • Collaborate with process engineers to resolve equipment-related production issues
  • Utilize project management methodologies to complete projects addressing equipment deficiencies
  • Develop and implement Total Productive Maintenance strategies
  • Establish and maintain productive vendor relations

Required skills

  • 2+ years of industry experience with PCVD equipment
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent military experience, or AAS with 5+ years of industry experie
  • Willingness to travel internationally for onboarding and training
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Proficient in Data Science and Programming skills
