Overview

Ben's Structural Fabrication is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead structural steel projects in Saint Cloud, Minnesota. The role involves overseeing project execution, managing schedules and budgets, and supporting the Project Management team while ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage assigned structural steel projects from award through completion.
  • Provide leadership, training, and coaching for Project Managers and Project & Compliance Coordinator.
  • Oversee project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and RFIs.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements.
  • Monitor project performance, track schedules and budgets, and resolve issues.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and establish department priorities.

Required skills

  • 7+ years of project management experience in structural steel fabrication or related industry.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
  • Knowledge of RFIs, ASIs, RFPs, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Familiarity with construction management systems such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Autodesk.
