Job Description

Overview

Fusco Personnel is partnering with a reputable employee-owned construction firm to find a Senior Project Engineer in Albany, NY. The selected candidate will play a critical role in ensuring effective project execution across various phases, from planning to turnover, while collaborating closely with project managers and field teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Track workforce allocation and job-site productivity to support cost control and schedule goals.
  • Create, process, and organize technical documents, including RFIs, submittals, and other project records.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and assist with pricing, material sourcing, and evaluation of change events.
  • Build and update project schedules in collaboration with field leadership, trade partners, and subcontractors.
  • Oversee final inspections, punch list completion, and project closeout materials.
  • Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and QA/QC procedures.

Required skills

  • At least four years of experience in construction management or a related project-focused role.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or a similar discipline; equivalent hands-on industry experie
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and standard project management software.
  • Solid understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and field coordination practices.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, resourceful, and solutions-oriented.

What the company offers

  • Annual salary range of $95,000-115,000 plus non-guaranteed annualized bonus program.
