Overview

Exxel Pacific is looking for a Senior Project Engineer to join their dynamic team in Bellevue, Washington. In this role, you will support the project team by managing construction documentation, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring accurate project tracking and procurement.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in daily administrative management of construction projects
  • Mentor and train other Project Engineers
  • Review and track submittals and change orders
  • Manage project documentation, including drawings and invoices
  • Track project costs and assist in budget management
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for pre-qualifications
  • Create and manage project schedules and objectives
  • Handle RFI requests professionally
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal laws

Required skills

  • B.S. in Construction Management, Architecture or Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in the construction industry
  • Experience managing other Project Engineers
  • Strong knowledge in all divisions of construction management
  • Proficient in Bluebeam/PDF, Microsoft Office Suite, and scheduling software
  • Experience with Viewpoint is beneficial
  • Knowledge of local construction companies
