Overview

Micron is seeking a Senior Program Manager for Global Facilities Tool Installation to lead the planning and execution of major programs within its worldwide manufacturing network. This role focuses on building relationships across various teams, promoting global standards, and ensuring effective data insights to support senior leadership decisions in the context of advanced semiconductor facilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Direct U.S. Facilities Tool Installation efforts for fab startups and ramp enablement.
  • Partner with Global Procurement on Facilities TI RFPs and contracting strategies.
  • Coordinate global Tool Installation progress tracking and reporting.
  • Develop benchmarks for installation duration and identify performance improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct BKM gap analyses and guide implementation across the network.
  • Provide data analytics and executive-level summaries for risk management.
  • Support budget integration and ensure cross-site alignment.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in semiconductor wafer fabrication facilities.
  • Practical understanding of facilities tool installation and cleanroom principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
