Overview

Micron is seeking a Senior Program Manager for its Global Facilities Tool Installation team, responsible for overseeing U.S. Facilities Tool Installation efforts for future fab startups and greenfield ramp enablement. The role involves collaboration with various teams to promote global standards and strategic goals, while delivering clear data insights to support senior leadership decisions.

Key responsibilities

  • Direct U.S. Facilities Tool Installation efforts and assure detailed planning of Tool Install User Requirement Specifications.
  • Partner with Global Procurement on Facilities TI RFPs and support contracting strategy.
  • Coordinate global Tool Installation progress tracking, construction planning, and risk escalation.
  • Maintain regional installation duration benchmarks and identify critical-path improvements.
  • Develop annual Tool Installation strategies aligned with global objectives.
  • Conduct BKM gap analyses and guide implementation across the network.
  • Provide data analytics and executive-level summaries to highlight opportunities for improvement.
  • Support standardized cost visibility and Facilities Capacity Planning System adoption.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in advanced semiconductor wafer fabrication facilities
  • Practical understanding of facilities tool installation and cleanroom principles
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience in cross geographical environments and partnering with suppliers
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
  • Strong communication skills and organizational practices
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
