Overview

Micron is seeking a Senior Program Manager for its Global Facilities Tool Installation team, which is responsible for the planning, development, construction, and operation of Micron's worldwide manufacturing network. The role requires collaboration with various internal partners to promote global standards and strategic goals while managing tool installation programs.

Key responsibilities

  • Direct U.S. Facilities Tool Installation efforts for future fab startups and greenfield ramp enablement.
  • Partner with Global Procurement on Facilities TI RFPs and contracting strategies.
  • Coordinate global Tool Installation progress tracking and timely risk escalation.
  • Develop annual Tool Installation strategies and transformation roadmaps.
  • Conduct site to site BKM gap analyses and guide consistent implementation.
  • Provide clear data analytics and executive-level summaries for risk management.
  • Support standardized cost visibility and Facilities Capacity Planning System adoption.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in advanced semiconductor wafer fabrication facilities
  • Practical understanding of facilities tool installation and cleanroom principles
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with AutoCAD (2D), Revit (3D), Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
  • Strong communication skills and excellent organizational practices
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities
