Overview

Micron Technology is seeking a Senior Program Manager for their Global Facilities Tool Installation team, which is responsible for the planning, development, construction, and operation of the company's manufacturing network. This role involves collaborating with various teams to drive engineering innovation, sustainability, and operational excellence, while guiding Tool Installation programs and providing data insights for senior leadership decisions.

Key responsibilities

  • Direct U.S. Facilities Tool Installation efforts for future fab startups and greenfield ramp enablement
  • Partner with Global Procurement and site teams on Facilities TI RFPs and contracting strategy
  • Coordinate global Tool Installation progress tracking and risk escalation
  • Build and maintain regional installation duration benchmarks to identify fast-install opportunities
  • Develop annual Tool Installation strategies and transformation roadmaps
  • Conduct BKM gap analyses, define alignment plans, and guide implementation across the network
  • Provide clear data analytics and executive-level summaries for improvement and risk management support
  • Ensure accurate data and cross-site alignment for Facilities Capacity Planning System adoption

Required skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field
  • At least 7 years of experience in advanced semiconductor wafer fabrication facilities
  • Practical understanding of facilities tool installation and cleanroom principles
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with AutoCAD (2D), Revit (3D), Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
  • Strong communication skills and excellent organizational practices
