Job Description

Overview

The Senior Product Manager at MaxCyte is responsible for driving the product strategy for the company's cell engineering technologies and services. This role focuses on understanding customer needs and market dynamics, partnering closely with various teams to ensure product development aligns with scientific expectations and business objectives.

Key responsibilities

  • Guide cross-functional teams through product commercialization, including launch planning and collateral development.
  • Lead business proposals through the New Product Development and Introduction (NPDI) process.
  • Collect Voice of Customer (VOC) to identify product features and applications.
  • Conduct market research to quantify the addressable market size.
  • Monitor product performance, customer satisfaction, and identify enhancement opportunities.
  • Support marketing execution for go-to-market strategies and events.
  • Develop internal business development strategies with partners and collaborators.

Required skills

  • BS or BA required; advanced degree preferred (MBA, PhD, or Master's)
  • 8+ years of experience in product management or related roles in cell therapy, gene therapy, or life science tools
  • Ability to develop product strategies and business cases
  • Experience with market analysis and product performance evaluation
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with various teams
  • Excellent communication skills for creating scientific content
  • Strong project management skills managing multiple priorities
  • Experience engaging KOLs and scientific communities
