Job Description

Overview

Raytheon is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Security Engineer (Anti-Tamper/Program Protection) to join their Systems Security Engineering team. This role focuses on developing comprehensive security solutions to protect embedded weapon systems and support Program Protection initiatives while working in a dynamic and agile environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Support implementation of Systems Security Engineering solutions into products
  • Interact with customers to define SSE requirements and solutions
  • Develop plans and estimates, execute tasks, and track project progress
  • Plan and guide SSE implementations in customer systems
  • Consult program management on SSE architectures and issues
  • Conduct threat modeling and Critical Program Information Assessments
  • Develop and validate secure configurations of technology assets
  • Perform Task Lead duties including planning and product owner responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with NIST Risk Management Framework controls
  • Support the development of bids and proposals

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM
  • 10 years of relevant experience
  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Technical leadership experience
  • Experience in System Security Engineering and cybersecurity
  • Knowledge of DoD secure systems technologies and policies
  • Experience in generating security requirements and design artifacts
  • Familiarity with threat modeling and program protection assessments
  • Cyber Certifications such as CISSP, GSLC, or CEH
  • Program management experience in SSE
