Overview

Raytheon is seeking a Senior Principal Sub-Assembly Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) for its Naval Power Product Line in Tucson, Arizona. The role involves overseeing value stream capacity activities, including test equipment integration, factory optimization, and managing transitions to production. This position requires strong leadership in coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure efficient project execution while maintaining compliance with U.S. security clearance requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all phases of the project lifecycle from requirements definition through delivery
  • Oversee test equipment integration and manufacturing verification testing
  • Ensure compliance with project schedules, budgets, and resource requirements
  • Manage risk identification and mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members
  • Act as point of contact for stakeholders, communicating project status and risks
  • Support proposal development and planning for future projects
  • Attend Change Control Boards and approve system changes

Required skills

  • Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
  • Integration experience including hardware, software, and firmware
  • Experience with multi-disciplinary teams and complex project management
  • Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Certification
  • Familiarity with Windows and Microsoft products
  • Experience troubleshooting systems with test equipment
  • Knowledge of model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and Agile development methodologies
