Overview

The University of California-Berkeley is seeking a Senior Principal Researcher for the CITRIS Health Initiative. This role involves leading research in health informatics and digital health innovation across four UC campuses, focusing on technology-enabled health research and collaboration with industry and academic partners.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the conceptualization and execution of large digital health research programs.
  • Manage multimillion-dollar research portfolios and ensure scientific integrity.
  • Oversee implementation of informatics solutions and interoperability across systems.
  • Serve as Principal Investigator for major funded projects, directing all aspects.
  • Engage with stakeholders including state and federal agencies and community organizations.
  • Produce peer-reviewed publications and contribute to knowledge translation.
  • Mentor junior faculty and researchers in health informatics.
