Overview

The Senior Principal Project Engineer - Engineering Execution PM at Raytheon will oversee program execution in Tucson, AZ. This role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure contract and company requirements are met while providing leadership and mentorship to program staff. The position requires a U.S. government issued security clearance and offers an opportunity for career growth in Program Management.

Key responsibilities

  • Contribute to developing and aligning program vision and execution strategies
  • Support the Program Manager in customer relations and issue resolution
  • Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams and functional team members
  • Identify key program metrics and drive corrective actions as needed
  • Support program risk and opportunity processes
  • Prepare for customer program reviews and visits
  • Mentor and guide team members

Required skills

  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM)
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
  • Program Management Certified Level 6 or equivalent
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with financial analysis and project management tools
  • Active SECRET security clearance
