Job Description

Overview

Raytheon is seeking a Senior Principal Guidance Section Technical Lead to lead large, complex teams in developing Electrical Systems solutions within the Flight Avionics Department. The role involves technical oversight, integration, and management of suppliers to ensure the technical integrity of projects aimed at enhancing defense systems.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead a cross-functional team of engineers through product development.
  • Manage technical integrity of the Guidance Section, including Technical Data Package development and validation.
  • Oversee technical risk and support failure investigations.
  • Conduct architecting of new electronic systems and develop subsystem requirements.
  • Engage with both suppliers and customers to demonstrate capabilities.
  • Mentor team members and guide them through hardware systems lifecycle phases.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in STEM field.
  • 10+ years of experience in RF product design, integration, and production.
  • Experience with analog, digital, and power electronics design.
  • Knowledge of RF sub-systems, circuit card assembly design, and validation.
  • Technical leadership experience on complex subsystems.
  • Familiarity with hypersonics and Model Based System Engineering (MBSE).
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with peers, suppliers, and management.
