Job Description

Overview

As a Senior Principal Engineer for the End-to-End AI Training Framework at Bosch, you will lead the development and optimization of systems focused on autonomous driving technologies. The role entails defining technological roadmaps and ensuring the scalability and performance of AI machinery integral to Bosch's L2+ ADAS product offerings.

Key responsibilities

  • Define and drive execution of the technical roadmap for the E2E AI machinery
  • Oversee design, development, and testing of E2E AI machinery interactions with data sources and model repositories
  • Collaborate with tech leads to define the architecture of the AI machinery ecosystem
  • Guide development framework for rapid evaluation and integration of E2E AI solutions
  • Transition research prototypes to production-ready solutions with a focus on performance and scalability
  • Implement best practices in system validation and continuous improvement
  • Mentor and lead a team of AI scientists and engineers

Required skills

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, AI or closely related field
  • 10+ years of experience in software development and systems engineering for autonomous driving or ADAS
  • Proven experience in launching AI-based L2+ systems
  • Deep knowledge of E2E AI stack solutions, training algorithms, reinforcement learning, imitation learning
  • Knowledge of AI frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch
  • Experience in model optimization and deployment on embedded automotive hardware
  • Familiarity with cloud-based training pipelines, MLOps, and CICD for AI model training
  • Leadership and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Python and C++
  • Understanding of automotive safety standards (ISO 26262, ASIL)
