Overview

The Senior Pricing Analyst at Carl Buddig and Company plays a pivotal role in driving the pricing strategy and profitability analysis across the organization. This position requires collaboration with various departments to develop and implement pricing initiatives that align with financial objectives and market dynamics, while continuously improving profitability models.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate pricing initiatives across the organization.
  • Develop, implement, and refine pricing strategies for products and customers.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing on pricing decisions for new products and bids.
  • Own and enhance customer and product profitability reporting.
  • Analyze profitability across dimensions to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Manage and integrate large datasets from multiple sources for robust analytics.
  • Support deal evaluation and pre-deal profitability analysis.
  • Establish and maintain pricing governance processes.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in pricing, FP&A, or commercial finance.
  • Strong experience with financial modeling and profitability analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with Power BI, ERP systems (e.g., D365).
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Strong communication skills for influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
