Overview

Micron Technology is seeking a Senior Photolithography Process Engineer for its Boise, Idaho location. This role involves starting up, developing, and optimizing processes to improve product quality within the semiconductor manufacturing environment. As part of a significant $15 billion investment in semiconductor manufacturing, the engineer will work closely with multi-functional teams to tackle process issues and enhance production efficiency.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize photolithography processes to improve product quality
  • Drive process yield improvements and cost reduction efforts
  • Collaborate with equipment and integration engineers to resolve production issues
  • Utilize project management skills to meet project milestones related to yield and defectivity
  • Maintain and improve statistical process control (SPC) charts
  • Engage in hands-on work and technical problem-solving

Required skills

  • 2+ years of industry experience as Process Owner in Photolithography
  • BS or Masters in Engineering or equivalent military experience
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and equipment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Data Science and programming
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Willingness to travel internationally for training
