Overview

The Senior Peer Services Coordinator at Prevention Links Inc. is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Community Peer Recovery Center program. This role involves coordinating program activities, engaging with participants, and working collaboratively with community partners to support recovery-oriented initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with the coordination of recovery center programs, trainings, and events
  • Support implementation of participant engagement initiatives
  • Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders for program referrals
  • Facilitate communication among recovery center staff, volunteers, and participants
  • Maintain professional communication with all stakeholders
  • Participate in onboarding and orientation of new staff and volunteers
  • Provide guidance to peer recovery specialists
  • Assist with data collection and reporting for program activities
  • Ensure compliance with agency policies and documentation requirements
  • Participate in required trainings and staff development activities

Required skills

  • Lived experience with addiction and recovery
  • Minimum of two years' experience in program coordination or human services
  • Associate's degree in social work, human services, or related field
  • NJ Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) certification preferred
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Creole preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to utilize Recovery Data Platform (RDP) and Basecamp
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environments
