Overview

The Senior Peer Services Coordinator at Prevention Links Inc. is responsible for supporting the operations and activities of the Community Peer Recovery Center (CPRC). This role involves collaborating with staff, participants, and community partners to ensure effective implementation of recovery programs and adherence to agency policies.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist with program coordination, trainings, and special events at the recovery center.
  • Support participant engagement initiatives and maintain organized program operations.
  • Field referrals and connect participants to appropriate services.
  • Foster communication among recovery center staff, volunteers, and participants.
  • Conduct outreach efforts to increase awareness of services.
  • Support onboarding and provide guidance to staff and volunteers.
  • Assist with data collection, reporting, and compliance documentation.

Required skills

  • Experience in program coordination, supervision, or human services
  • Lived experience with addiction and recovery
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to utilize Recovery Data Platform (RDP), Basecamp, and other databases
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish or Creole preferred
  • NJ Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) certification preferred
