This position is responsible for the full payroll lifecycle, payroll accounting and reconciliations, grant-funded personnel and fringe benefit tracking, compliance, reporting, and employee payroll support. The Senior Payroll Specialist works closely with Finance and Human Resources to ensure accurate payroll processing and personnel cost reporting.Position: Full-TimeEmployment Type: Employee (W-2), HourlyWork Location: Hybrid, with required in-office work in Eugene, ORCompensation: Starting at $32.00/hour ($66,560 annually) Employee Benefits: Benefits for eligible full-time and regular part-time employees include:Health, Dental, Vision, Life, and Supplemental Insurance optionsHealthcare Flexible Spending Account (FSA)403(b) Retirement Savings Plan with company matchRobust paid time off package, including sick leave, vacation, and holidaysTraining and education benefits for eligible employees, along with continuing education support Minimum Qualifications: Five or more years of payroll experienceThree or more years of Accounting or Human Resources educationValid Oregon Driver's LicenseAbility to pass required criminal records background checkAbility to work independently and collaborativelyCommitment to the agency's non-discrimination policiesThe Ideal candidate will have: Requirements: As the Senior Payroll Specialist, you will:Manage the end-to-end semi-monthly payroll process, including payroll preparation, review, processing, and manual checks.Review payroll data for accuracy, including time records, earnings, deductions, taxes, benefits, and leave.Process payroll changes related to new hires, compensation, status changes, leave, terminations, and final pay.Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and unusual transactions.Maintain payroll procedures, documentation, checklists, and internal controls.Serve as the primary resource for employee and management payroll questions.Reconcile payroll-related general ledger accounts, including wages, taxes, deductions, employer contributions, and benefit expenses.Track and reconcile grant-funded personnel and fringe benefit costs.Partner with Finance, Human Resources, and Accounts Payable to resolve payroll, benefit, and accounting discrepancies.Monitor payroll practices for compliance with applicable wage and hour requirements, payroll tax regulations, and organizational policies.Prepare payroll documentation and supporting schedules for audits, compliance reviews, and grant monitoring.Identify opportunities to strengthen payroll processes, controls, reporting, and operational efficiency.Perform other duties as assigned.We look forward to reviewing your application!Willamette Family Inc. prohibits discrimination based on any characteristics protected by applicable local, state, or federal law and agency policy, including, but not limited to, race, color, religion, national origin, sex, or sexual orientation.Compensation details: 0 Yearly SalaryPIb620aaa4d6-
