Job Description

Overview

The Senior NDT Technician for Repair Station at Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation will work within the Savannah Service Center on customer aircraft post production. This role requires NDT Level II Certification in several methods and involves performing non-destructive testing to ensure product acceptability.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform non-destructive tests (NDT) and determine product acceptability
  • Record, organize, and evaluate test results
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety rules and regulations
  • Maintain equipment and assure calibration for tests
  • Maintain inventory control of area equipment
  • Assist other NDT Technicians as required
  • Coordinate NDT inspection workload
  • Provide technical assistance to subordinate NDT technicians
  • Perform exposure room interlock safety checks
  • Conduct automated ultrasonic C-scan inspection of composite parts
