Overview

The Senior Managing Consultant for Corporate Finance in Healthcare at Berkeley Research Group will take a leading role in delivering multidisciplinary services to healthcare clients. The position focuses on turnaround and restructuring, performance improvement, and finance excellence, requiring strong analytical and organizational skills in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Contribute to day-to-day activities of client service teams on business improvement initiatives for healthcare clients
  • Utilize finance, accounting, and analytical skills to prepare and execute transactions and optimize processes
  • Develop and lead high-quality reports, analyses, presentations, and client deliverables
  • Manage and oversee junior staff and assist in marketing, recruiting, and client pitches

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum seven years of relevant experience in consulting or finance
  • Expertise in financial analysis and modeling, particularly using Excel
  • Strong knowledge of corporate financial and operational processes, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting
  • General knowledge of financial ERP, EPM, and BI technologies
  • CFA, CPA, or equivalent technical accounting expertise preferred
  • Ability to manage and analyze large volumes of financial and operational data
  • Willingness to travel as needed
