Overview

Capital One is seeking an experienced Senior Manager for its Alternative Renewable Energy team, focusing primarily on Tax Equity transactions in the renewable energy sector, including wind and solar investments. The role involves underwriting new transactions and managing an existing portfolio while ensuring strong credit risk management and supporting the team's growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

  • Support and compile due diligence to assess current and future risks
  • Identify performance drivers and project future performance
  • Leverage industry research and present findings to senior management
  • Review financial models and propose structuring options
  • Write and prepare credit approval documents independently
  • Oversee and facilitate closing process requirements
  • Review and approve annual portfolio reviews and modifications
  • Mentor and train rotational analysts and new hires
  • Ensure compliance with credit policies and procedures

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree or Military Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in tax equity credit underwriting, portfolio management, or asset management
