Overview

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Senior Manager for their Product Application group in Conyers, GA. This role involves managing daily operations, improving processes, and enhancing service delivery in product applications, all while leading a team dedicated to customer-centric solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure service-level agreements are met for quote lead time and on-time delivery
  • Distribute workload effectively based on team members' strengths and development areas
  • Drive productivity through cross-functional process improvement and automation projects
  • Coach and develop Product Application associates to enhance customer experiences
  • Utilize reporting to improve data quality and speed for addressing challenges
  • Implement new products or features into front-end processes

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 10+ years in HVAC/R industry
  • 7-10 years of leadership experience
  • 5+ years in product application
  • Process improvement certification(s) such as Lean or Six Sigma
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem-solving mindset
  • Ability to manage through influence
  • Results-oriented approach
