Overview

KPMG is seeking a Senior Manager to join its Business Tax Services practice, focused on providing tax compliance and advisory services within the banking and capital markets sector. This role involves overseeing a diverse portfolio of clients and leading a team of tax professionals, while leveraging KPMG's extensive resources to deliver high-quality service and innovative tax solutions.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide tax compliance and advisory services to partnerships, corporations, and S-corporations
  • Oversee a portfolio of clients of varying size and scope
  • Act as the first point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Monitor teams of tax professionals and assistants working on client projects
  • Manage risk and financial performance of engagements including billings, collections, and project budgets
  • Advise clients and deliver high-quality tax service and advice

Required skills

  • Minimum eight years of recent corporate tax experience
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
  • Licensed CPA, JD/LLM, or EA
  • Strong knowledge of ASC 740
  • Experience with corporate taxation, consolidations, and partnerships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
