Overview

As a Senior Manager, Financing Solutions in the Real Estate Financing team, you will act as a subject matter expert in structuring complex commercial real estate transactions. This role focuses on portfolio growth through sound risk management practices and delivering high-value financial solutions to clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Structure complex real estate financing transactions, including construction loans and term financing.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis and credit underwriting to support decision-making.
  • Prepare detailed credit applications and recommendations for approval authorities.
  • Manage and monitor a portfolio of commercial real estate clients, including annual reviews.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to transactions and market conditions.
  • Partner with Account Managers to support deal origination, structuring, and execution.
  • Participate in negotiations with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors to ensure efficient execution of transactions.
  • Provide advisory support to internal partners regarding real estate financing.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • 7 to 10 years of relevant experience in commercial banking or real estate financing.
  • Strong experience in structuring complex real estate transactions.
  • Expertise in credit underwriting, financial analysis, and risk management.
  • Knowledge of real estate financing products and market dynamics.
  • Ability to work autonomously on complex files.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
