Overview

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a Senior Manager for Business Planning & Reporting to support the annual business planning process in a clean power production company. The role involves developing financial forecasts, maintaining financial models, and integrating planning across corporate functions to improve decision-making and reporting processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain corporate financial forecasts up to seven years ahead.
  • Prepare pro-forma financial statements and key operational/financial indicators.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance financial models for forecasting and analysis.
  • Lead corporate-level integration of planning and reporting activities.
  • Establish and reinforce consistent planning assumptions across the organization.
  • Prepare monthly budgets and forecast updates for reporting.
  • Manage and develop a team of financial analysts.
  • Coordinate the Long-Term Outlook ensuring consistency with corporate strategy.
  • Implement the company's new FP&A tool.

Required skills

  • University Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting
  • CPA or equivalent accounting designation
  • 7+ years of experience in public company audits and financial reporting
  • 3+ years of experience in public accounting firm audits
  • Experience in the Energy, Utilities, and Mining industries
  • Financial forecasting and modeling
  • Data analysis and scenario analysis
  • Stakeholder management and strategic planning
