Overview

Steinbacher Goodall & Yurchak is seeking a Senior Long Term Care Planning Attorney to lead their Long-Term Care Planning Department. This role involves overseeing a team, engaging with clients to develop tailored care plans, and ensuring legal oversight on pertinent documents while fostering a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and oversight to the Long-Term Care Planning team
  • Conduct initial consultations and ongoing meetings with clients and their families
  • Develop and implement comprehensive Care Plans, including Medicaid qualification strategies
  • Review and approve all legal documents related to long-term care planning
  • Supervise the preparation and submission of benefit entitlement applications
  • Lead and mentor staff to ensure accuracy and excellence
  • Collaborate with other professionals to deliver holistic solutions
  • Recommend and implement process enhancements for operational efficiency

Required skills

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in elder law, estate planning, or long-term care planning
  • Proven leadership experience in a legal or healthcare-related setting
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
