Overview

Steinbacher Goodall & Yurchak is seeking a Senior Long Term Care Planning Attorney to lead their Long-Term Care Planning Department in State College, Pennsylvania. This role involves providing strategic leadership, client engagement, and oversight of legal documents while fostering a culture of collaboration and process improvement within the team.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and oversight to the Long-Term Care Planning team
  • Conduct initial consultations and ongoing meetings with clients
  • Develop and implement comprehensive Care Plans
  • Review and approve all legal documents related to long-term care planning
  • Supervise preparation and submission of benefit entitlement applications
  • Lead and mentor staff to ensure accuracy in client files
  • Collaborate with professionals to deliver holistic solutions
  • Recommend and implement process enhancements for operational efficiency

Required skills

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in elder law, estate planning, or long-term care planning
  • Proven leadership experience in a legal or healthcare-related setting
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
