Overview

CBC Mortgage Agency is looking for a Senior Mortgage Loan Processor to manage a high-volume pipeline of residential mortgage loans. This role requires acting as the primary performer of tasks during the loan application process, ensuring accuracy and compliance from initial submission through to closing.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage a high-volume pipeline of residential mortgage loans (FHA, VA, Conventional, Jumbo).
  • Thoroughly review loan applications and documentation to ensure accuracy.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Loan Officers, Underwriters, and borrowers.
  • Run and interpret desktop underwriting systems (DU/LPA).
  • Order and verify third-party reports, including appraisals and title reports.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies.
  • Provide regular status updates to borrowers and loan officers.

Required skills

  • 5+ years of experience in mortgage loan processing.
  • Expert knowledge of FHA, VA, Conventional, and Jumbo loan guidelines.
  • Proficiency in LendingPad LOS or Encompass.
  • Strong proficiency in Desktop Underwriter (DU) / Loan Prospector (LPA).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
