We are looking for an experienced litigator who is energized by challenge, enjoys partnering with business leaders, and wants to be part of a collaborative team that is trusted to solve difficult problems and influence important decisions.In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead files involving litigation, regulatory investigations, client complaints, and internal reviews while advising senior stakeholders across our Wealth Management lines of business. You'll be empowered to think strategically, exercise independent judgment, and help drive outcomes that support our clients, our business, and our reputation, including by:instructing and managing external counsel in litigation, pre-litigation and regulatory enforcement proceedingsdirecting and overseeing internal reviews and investigationsmaking recommendations to senior leaders on escalated concerns and client complaints, litigation and regulatory matters, business strategy and new initiatives, based on an in-depth understanding of the businesssupporting internal stakeholders to achieve organizational goals while minimizing legal, regulatory and reputational riskexercising judgement on complex, confidential and sensitive mattersidentifying risks and recommending appropriate actions to mitigate thembuilding effective relationships with internal/external stakeholdersapplying expertise and thinking creatively to address unique or ambiguous situations and to find solutions to problems that can be complex and non-routine Salary : $111,800.00 - $208,000.00 Pay Type: SalariedThe above represents BMO Financial Group's pay range and type.Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked.
