Overview

As a Senior Lead AI Engineer at Capital One, you will join the Intelligent Foundations and Experiences (IFX) team to design and deliver innovative AI systems that transform banking experiences. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop AI-powered products that enhance customer interactions and operational efficiency, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and techniques.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components including model training and inference.
  • Collaborate with engineers, research scientists, and product managers to create AI-powered solutions.
  • Implement state-of-the-art optimization techniques for large-scale AI systems.
  • Contribute to the technical vision and long-term roadmap for AI infrastructure at Capital One.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, or related fields.
  • 6+ years of experience in AI and ML algorithm development.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python, Go, Scala, or Java.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
