Overview

As a Senior Lead AI Engineer at Capital One, you will play a pivotal role in developing AI-powered products that enhance customer interactions and support banking operations. You will be part of the Intelligent Foundations and Experiences team, focusing on building and deploying advanced AI solutions while collaborating with a cross-functional team of professionals.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with engineers, research scientists, and product managers to deliver AI products
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components
  • Leverage a variety of AI technologies and tools for model training and deployment
  • Create and implement LLM optimization techniques for scalable AI systems
  • Contribute to the technical vision and long-term roadmap for AI systems

Required skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, or related fields
  • At least 6 years of experience developing AI and ML algorithms
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, Scala, or Java
