Overview

As a Senior Lead AI Engineer at Capital One, you will play a pivotal role in creating responsible AI systems to enhance customer experiences in banking. You will work with a cross-functional team to design, develop, and deploy AI software components, driving innovation and optimization within the Gen AI Platform.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with engineers, research scientists, and product managers to deliver AI-powered products.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components.
  • Leverage a broad stack of Open Source and SaaS AI technologies.
  • Invent state-of-the-art LLM optimization techniques for AI systems.
  • Contribute to the technical vision and long-term roadmap of AI systems.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • At least 6 years of experience developing AI and ML algorithms.
  • Programming experience with Python, Go, Scala, or Java.
  • Experience deploying scalable AI solutions on cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Ability to lead and mentor an engineering team.
