Overview

As a Senior Lead AI Engineer at Capital One, you will play a significant role in developing AI-powered products to enhance customer interactions and associate workflows. You will be part of the Intelligent Foundations and Experiences team, leading efforts to innovate AI systems and deploying proprietary solutions that impact millions of customers.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products.
  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support AI software components.
  • Leverage a broad stack of Open Source and SaaS AI technologies.
  • Introduce state-of-the-art LLM optimization techniques.
  • Contribute to the technical vision and long-term roadmap of AI systems.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant fields.
  • 6+ years of experience in AI and ML algorithms or technologies.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, Scala, or Java.
  • Experience deploying scalable AI solutions on cloud platforms.
