Overview

The Senior Internal Communications Specialist at GreenState Credit Union plays a critical role in the planning, creation, coordination, and sharing of internal communications. This position is dedicated to making complex information clear and actionable while promoting an inclusive and engaging workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains user-centered content, ensuring clarity and accessibility.
  • Partners with subject matter experts to create and refine internal communications.
  • Manages content workflows, timelines, and approvals across various channels.
  • Creates clear and engaging content for process documentation and instructional materials.
  • Measures content effectiveness and refines strategies to improve engagement.
  • Collaborates across teams to align messaging and minimize duplication.
  • Contributes to strategic initiatives by providing copywriting and content support.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing, or related field preferred
  • 5-7 years of experience in copywriting and communications, preferably in financial services
  • Exceptional written communication skills with knowledge of AP Style
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail
  • Content strategy skills and experience with content management systems
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and content management tools
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to manage multiple projects
