Overview

A large manufacturing and distribution organization is seeking a Senior HR Specialist to lead a team dedicated to human resources functions. This role involves managing the hiring and onboarding processes, ensuring compliance with HR policies, and partnering with business leaders in employee development.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the hiring process and onboarding of new employees
  • Conduct new hire orientation
  • Ensure accuracy and timely processing of benefits
  • Serve as the point of contact for employees
  • Partner with business leaders on employee coaching and development
  • Stay updated on relevant laws and ensure compliance across the organization
  • Manage and monitor Workers Compensation claims

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of benefits and leave administration experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Human Resource Management, including hiring and terminations
  • Experience in supervisor and employee coaching
  • PHR, SHRM or other HR Certification a plus
