Overview

The Senior Fund Accounting Analyst at Fisher Investments plays a crucial role in the Fund Accounting team within Corporate Finance, providing operational accounting support and financial analysis for multiple funds. This involves preparing fund budgets, overseeing audits, ensuring tax compliance, and acting as a liaison between departments as the team continues to grow and improve processes.

Key responsibilities

  • Review fund financial statements across multiple countries
  • Oversee fund audits and work with auditors
  • Prepare fund budgets and conduct variance analyses
  • Ensure accuracy of accounting and financial reporting by fund administrators
  • Review and oversee global tax compliance of the funds
  • Partner with other teams within Corporate Finance for business transaction insights
  • Provide accounting explanations for client requests
  • Mentor and train accounting associates
  • Develop company procedures
  • Automate existing processes and methodologies

Required skills

  • 5+ years Accounting and/or Audit experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a combination of education and experience
  • Financial statement review and preparation experience
  • Experience with financial planning and analysis
