Overview

Larson Capital Management, LLC is looking for a Senior Fund Accountant to manage daily reporting functions for private equity real estate funds. This role encompasses the accounting, operations, and administration duties of assigned funds and involves interaction with fund managers and auditors.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide investment accounting support for private investment holdings
  • Prepare reconciliations of fund cash and investment positions
  • Maintain Fund books and records according to governing documents
  • Prepare draft of annual financial statements and assist with audits
  • Ensure compliance with controls and procedures
  • Assist with business development and client-specific reporting
  • Collaborate with internal development team on projects and reporting
  • Review bank transactions for approval
  • Calculate management fees and enter them into the AP system

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • 5-7 years of experience in PE fund accounting or administration
  • Knowledge of consolidations, eliminations, and investment accounting
  • Experience with Yardi accounting software preferred
  • Background in private equity funds and hedge funds
  • Expertise in various investment instruments
  • Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail skills
