Overview

Amarx Search, Inc. is seeking a Senior FPGA Engineer for a direct hire position in Cincinnati, Ohio. The role involves architecture, design, and development of next-generation Electronic Safe and Arm Devices for defense technology applications, leveraging extensive experience in FPGA and Verilog.

Key responsibilities

  • Analyze requirements and define architecture for FPGA and microcontroller products
  • Design and debug FPGA hardware and associated firmware
  • Develop Verilog HDL for Antifuse and enhanced Flash FPGAs
  • Perform analysis of functional issues and performance profiling in test environments
  • Contribute to process improvements for hardware-firmware quality and time-to-market

Required skills

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 6+ years of relevant experience (4 with Master's, 10 with no degree)
  • Extensive experience with Verilog for logic design
  • C programming experience for embedded systems
  • Knowledge of digital design practices and HDL (Verilog, VHDL)
  • Experience with lab tools like logic analyzers and oscilloscopes
  • Familiarity with version control tools (SVN, GIT, TFS)
  • Experience with system verification methodologies (design verification, unit testing, etc.)
  • Knowledge of SystemVerilog for verification (desired)
  • C# development experience (desired)
