Overview

Procter & Gamble is seeking a Senior Flavorist for its North America Oral Care business in Mason, Ohio. This role involves developing innovative taste experiences for a diverse product portfolio, contributing to product innovation, and working as part of a collaborative R&D team. The position requires scientific expertise and a proactive attitude to drive projects from conception to market.

Key responsibilities

  • Contribute to and execute strategies in the flavors team
  • Identify, lead, and create developments in new formulations and products
  • Collaborate effectively within the team to maximize job impact and personal learning
  • Work under limited supervision, following defined precedents and policies
  • Develop necessary knowledge and skills for current job requirements

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Science or related field
  • Fully Certified Flavor Chemist
  • Proven experience in the Flavors & Fragrances industry
  • Experience in OC flavor formulation creation
  • Familiarity with mint flavors and compositions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to new challenges and work independently
