Role Overview The Senior Fixed Assets Senior Analyst is responsible for leading accounting, reporting, and control activities across Fixed Assets, Lease Accounting, DD&A, Impairments, and Asset Transactions. This role ensures the integrity of financial reporting and compliance with IFRS, internal controls, and company policies.The position serves as a subject matter authority in asset accounting, lease progression, depreciation, Net Book Value (NBV), and strategic transactions, while partnering with cross-functional teams to support business decisions and portfolio management. Key Responsibilities Lead monthly and quarterly close activities for Fixed Assets, Lease Accounting, DD&A, impairments, and asset transactionsEnsure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with IFRS, company policies, and internal controlsOwn DD&A process across all asset classes and perform variance analysisLead lease progression accounting for non-producing to producing leasesMaintain Fixed Asset Register (FAR) and CGU reportingSupport acquisitions, divestments, swaps, and trades through financial analysisReview and validate transaction documentation including ATMs and financial memorandum.Provide assurance on NBV requests and maintain the NBV PowerApp toolLead Balance Sheet Assurance (BSA) coordination and review resultsSupport audits and SOX complianceEnsure accurate accounting for impairments, reversals, and write-offsCoordinate annual reserves-related accounting activitiesPartner with cross-functional teams (FBT) to support daily activities and decision-makingLead process improvement and automation initiatives using SAP, Power BI, PowerApps, and SAC Crucial Education & Experience Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field10+ years of experience in Fixed Assets and upstream Oil & GasProven understanding of SAP/S4 HANA (Fixed Assets & Lease Accounting)Strong understanding of IFRS and internal controlsExperience with acquisitions, divestments, DD&A, impairments, and lease accountingExperience with Power BI, PowerApps, SAC, and automation toolsSophisticated Excel and financial modeling skillsStrong analytical and stakeholder leadership skillsExperience supporting audits, SOX, and BSA Preferred Qualifications CPA, CMA, or equivalent certificationExperience in upstream Oil & GasAbility to influence stakeholders and drive decisions Salary and Benefits We offer a reward and wellbeing package to enable your work to fit with your life.
