Overview

CFS is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for a growing technology company in Boulder, Colorado. This pivotal role combines finance, analytics, and relationship building, focusing on partnering with organizational leaders to translate data into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead the budgeting process by coordinating annual budget development and partnering with business leaders.
  • Develop and maintain forecasting models for informed business decisions, including revenue and expense forecasting.
  • Analyze staffing trends and work with HR to build workforce planning models.
  • Build strong relationships across departments to translate financial data into actionable recommendations.
  • Leverage data and technology to improve visibility and decision-making through advanced Excel modeling and reporting.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
  • 5-7 years of experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Advanced Excel skills for complex modeling and analysis
  • Experience with NetSuite
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake
  • SQL proficiency for querying and analyzing large datasets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Outgoing personality with relationship-building skills
