Overview

The Senior Field Industrial Electrician at Martin Marietta will provide critical electrical support to aggregate plants in the North Texas area, focusing on maintenance, troubleshooting, and automation upgrades. This role involves coordinating repairs, enhancing safety and efficiency, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations while working closely with both internal teams and external vendors.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot electrical systems for production efficiency
  • Coordinate in-house electrical repairs and upgrades
  • Research automation upgrades to improve plant safety and efficiency
  • Work collaboratively with engineering and contracted vendors on projects
  • Support and promote a strong corporate safety culture
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and lead by example

Required skills

  • 3 years of experience in aggregates or similar industry
  • Experience with production conveyor belt scales and related repairs
  • Valid driver's license with a good driving history
  • State of Texas maintenance or journeyman electrician license preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong vendor relations skills
  • Knowledge of high voltage electrical systems
  • Experience with PLCs, VFDs, and soft start sensors preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and perform physical tasks in various conditions
