Job Description

Overview

Raytheon is seeking a Senior Environmental Test Engineer to support their Environmental Test organization in Tucson, Arizona. This role involves executing a variety of environmental tests and collaborating with an integrated product team to ensure compliance with testing requirements throughout the product life cycle.

Key responsibilities

  • Consult and provide testing guidance to internal program customers
  • Write and review test plans and procedures
  • Oversee and conduct environmental testing for product qualification and acceptance
  • Implement engineering best practices for accurate and timely testing
  • Analyze test data to ensure requirements are met
  • Communicate testing status to leadership and internal customers
  • Design and analyze test fixtures using CREO Parametric and Ansys Workbench

Required skills

  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
  • Technical writing experience in test planning, analysis, or reporting
  • Experience with environmental test vibration shaker systems
  • Familiarity with instrumentation and data acquisition systems (e.g., Dewetron, LabView, Agilent/Keysight)
