Job Description

Overview

Raytheon is seeking a Senior Environmental Test Engineer to join their Environmental Test organization in Tucson, Arizona. This role involves executing various environmental tests while collaborating with integrated product teams to develop effective testing methods that meet customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

  • Consult and provide testing guidance to internal program customers
  • Write and review test plans and procedures
  • Create schedules and budgets for all testing
  • Oversee and conduct environmental testing for product qualification and evaluations
  • Analyze test data to ensure compliance with requirements
  • Communicate ongoing testing efforts with leadership and internal stakeholders
  • Design and analyze vibration and structural test fixtures using CREO Parametric and Ansys Workbench

Required skills

  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in technical writing for test planning, analysis, or reporting
  • Experience with environmental test vibration shaker systems
  • Knowledge of instrumentation and data acquisition systems such as Dewetron, DeweSoft, LabView, Agilent/Keysight
