Overview

The Senior Engineer - Fleet Management at GE Vernova plays a strategic role in the partnership with Baker Hughes, serving the oil and gas industry. This position demands technical expertise, commercial awareness, and strong leadership to support HDGT end users and ensure effective collaboration between GE Vernova and Baker Hughes.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute engineering responsibilities supporting the GE Vernova-Baker Hughes partnership.
  • Represent GE Vernova as the HDGT OEM with Baker Hughes and end users.
  • Support HDGT installations and outages within the oil and gas segment.
  • Manage Baker Hughes Help Cases to meet quality and delivery metrics.
  • Deliver customer service engineering and HDGT product service priorities.
  • Coordinate and ensure excellence in customer communications within the oil and gas industry.
  • Support root cause analysis excellence aligned with GE Vernova protocols.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in gas turbine engineering
  • Knowledge of B/E Class Heavy Duty Gas turbines
  • Customer-focused communication skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities
  • Familiarity with GE Vernova tools like PLM and Power Now
  • Proficiency in Tops 8D or other root cause analysis techniques
  • Agility in managing shifting project priorities
  • Strong foundational knowledge of gas turbine technology
  • Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed
