Overview

IET Labs, Inc. is looking for a Senior Electronic Calibration & Repair Technician to join its engineering and production team in West Roxbury, Massachusetts. The role involves assembling, troubleshooting, testing, adjusting, and calibrating electronic instruments and test equipment, contributing to the company’s mission of providing high-quality instruments and exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Assemble electronic instruments and test equipment
  • Troubleshoot electronic devices down to the component level
  • Test, adjust, and calibrate various electronic instruments
  • Utilize handheld multimeters and oscilloscopes for testing
  • Read and follow schematics and assembly procedures
  • Perform quality soldering and electronic assembly

Required skills

  • Electronic testing and troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with multimeters and oscilloscopes
  • Calibration of test equipment
  • PC skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to read schematics and calibration procedures
  • Good quality soldering and assembly workmanship
  • Familiarity with GenRad and esi test instrumentation is a plus
