Job Description

Overview

Raytheon is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer with at least 5 years of experience to join their Test Equipment Engineering Team in Tucson, Arizona. This role involves designing and developing test systems for various Raytheon products while working in hands-on, multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will contribute to all phases of product development and maintain the technical, cost, and schedule aspects of projects.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and integrate test products within multidisciplinary engineering teams
  • Develop engineering and production test systems, including interface adapters and cabling
  • Create technical drawings, schematics, and perform circuit design and analysis
  • Manage technical, cost, and schedule aspects of assigned projects
  • Identify and resolve issues related to the development and implementation of test products

Required skills

  • Bachelor's or Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. government issued security clearance
  • Experience in electrical engineering design, troubleshooting, analysis, and testing
  • Proficiency with tools like Altium, DX Designer, and Mentor Capital
  • Experience with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, and network analyzers
  • Understanding of schematic capture tools and schematic interpretation
  • Experience in analog, digital, and/or RF design
  • Project management and bid proposal experience
  • Strong technical writing and presentation skills
