Job Description

Overview

Raytheon is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their Test Equipment Engineering Team in Tucson, Arizona. The successful candidate will have at least five years of professional experience and will work on the design, development, and integration of test products for various Raytheon systems. This role is 100% on-site and requires active U.S. government security clearance.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and integrate Raytheon test products within multidiscipline engineering teams.
  • Develop engineering and production test systems, including test interface adapters, cabling, and technical drawings.
  • Contribute to all stages of test product development and manage technical, cost, and schedule aspects of projects.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to the development and implementation of test products.

Required skills

  • Bachelor's degree in STEM or equivalent experience.
  • Five years of relevant experience or three years with an advanced degree.
  • Active U.S. government issued security clearance.
  • Experience with electrical engineering design, troubleshooting, and analysis.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, and Creo Schematic.
  • Experience with test equipment including oscilloscopes, DMMs, and network analyzers.
  • Ability to use schematic capture tools.
